Vernoncrest Golf Club

As a Charter Club of the Western States Golf Association in 1953, it is important for you to know that since our inception, we have given back to our community. Our golf club is rich with history, and I am honored to be a member of this illustrious organization. Junior Golf and Scholarship have been two of our largest areas of focus. However, for the past six years, our club has been successfully raising funds for breast cancer awareness. The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation focuses primarily on providing treatment, education, awareness and prevention to uninsured minority women and men, and your support and participation helps to make this happen. Our 2007 tournament was hosted at the beautiful California Country Club, a private golf course in the city of Whittier. Our event was a huge success thanks to the numerous golfers and sponsors that helped to make this happen. Vernoncrest was also recognized by the City of Los Angeles, Councilman Herb Wesson and Mayor Antonio Villiaragosa. The Swing Fore A Cure in 2008 will be EVEN bigger and is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 13^th.
