Uphill Lie

  • Select a longer club than usual. (EX.:  #5 instead of #6)
  • Choke down on the club.
  • Aim right of the target.
  • Place ball forward in stance.
  • Fit stance with angle of the slope.
  • Place more weight on the right foot.
  • Increase flexion of the right knee.
  • Limit the backswing.
  • Prevent sway by limiting body turn.

    Keep us O God, from pettiness: Let us be large in thought, in work, in deed:  Let us be done with fault-finding and leave off self seeking.
